With all the recent fine weather, the time seems right for the first triathlon of the new season to happen. There are just 9 days to go now, and Alan and his team are making final preparations for the 2011 event.
Just two important notices for you:
1. YOU NEED A RACE LICENCE. If you are not a Triathlon Ireland Racing licence holder (Full, Student or Youth), then you may purchase a One Day Licence. These cost €15, and are only available from Triathlon Ireland's website. These cannot be purchased after Thursday 7 April.
We will be asking you to produce either a One Day Licence e-mail from TI or your membership card when you register.
No Licence = No Race, and no exceptions! (These are TI rules, which we need to comply with for insurance cover for the race).
2. COMPETITOR MANUAL. This is a comprehensive guide to the race, and contains very useful information about the course, the day itself, summary rules and more. It will be available on this site from this weekend.
